3D Design & Development for Auto Parts and Aftermarket

Part models for catalog imagery, fitment and installation context, exploded assemblies, and variants across applications.

Last revised

What auto parts and aftermarket are dealing with

The situation: Fitment is everything, catalogs run to tens of thousands of SKUs, and a wrong image is a return. High-volume packshot editing, fitment diagrams, exploded 3D views, and structured product data that search engines can read.

Timing and approvals

When the work happens
Continuous catalog work with very large part counts, where per-asset cost decides whether it happens at all.
Who signs it off
A catalog or applications engineer checking against the physical part.

The constraint that shapes it

Geometry has to match the physical part closely enough that the image confirms fitment, which is a tighter bar than looking right.

California Air Resources Board rules restrict what may be sold and advertised for road use in that state, and emissions-related claims are enforced federally. A listing image implying road-legal use where none exists is a real exposure. This is a practical note, not legal advice.

What goes wrong, and what to do instead

Avoid: Modeling the part without the mounting context. Fitment is the question the image has to answer, and the part alone does not answer it.

What it costs

3D design & development work starts at $39.00 per render with us. The pricing page puts every rate next to what the US market typically charges, and a quote turns the range into one number for your volume.
