UI & UX Design for Manufacturing and Industrial

Product configurators, request-for-quote flows, customer portals for reorders, and dashboards for tracking orders.

The constraint that shapes everything

Configurator rules should come from engineering data, not from a separate list that gets out of date.

A "Made in USA" claim carries a specific FTC standard requiring that all or virtually all of the product be made domestically, and the agency has brought enforcement actions over it. Technical performance claims need substantiation held before the claim is published, and export control rules can restrict what technical documentation may be shared abroad. This is a practical note, not legal advice.

What manufacturing and industrial are dealing with

Technical buyers, long sales cycles, and catalogs that are often decades old and half-digitized. 3D product visualization from CAD, technical illustration, spec-accurate product data, and B2B sites that support quoting.

How a project runs

  1. When the work happens Long projects, with changes rolled out carefully to avoid disrupting customers who reorder often.
  2. Who signs it off An engineering lead and a sales operations manager, who need the configurator to agree with what the factory can actually build.

Where it usually goes wrong

Watch for: A configurator that allows combinations the factory cannot build. It creates quotes that have to be walked back.

What it costs

UI & UX design work starts at $4,800.00 per project with us. The pricing page puts every rate next to what the US market typically charges, and a quote turns the range into one number for your volume.
